On my way back to Georgia...

Ok, so...I had a job interview in Atlanta yesterday. I was staying with a friend in Marietta which meant I was to leave at 8:00 am for a 10:00 am appointment because of the nightmare that is I-75 & I-285 rush hour traffic. I ended up being early and there was an Einstein Bros. Bagels nearby so I got a cup of coffee and chilled out for a few minutes. They actually really do serve a darn good cup of coffee.

There were two girls sitting at a booth nearby and they were talking about a pharmacy rep position or something medical like that. While sitting there I was able to eavesdrop some free interview tips and a morale boost. About the time that conversation was getting old, a couple came and sat a the table next to me. As I looked up, they met my glance then the guy proceeding to talk to the girl with, and I kid you not, clicks. You know that clicking sound you can make by flicking your tongue on the roof of your mouth? Well he proceeded to do a whole series of different clicks...long, short, and all other sorts of variations. It was crazy I tell you. Cray-zee.

I left and went to my interview, which was fairly long considering we'd already had a 30 minute phone interview before scheduling a face to face meeting. Then at the end of that, came the tests. Yes, the personality tests. I, for one, loathehateloathe personality tests. I think they are pretty much pointless. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to debunk the whole science of psychology or anything, I'm not that arrogant. But I have my thoughts on the subject, and it is a personal soapbox of mine but I'll spare you from me pulling it out to stand on for awhile. Your welcome.

In unrelated news, baby girl is getting big! For those that aren't aware, I found a kitten on the side of the road a few weeks ago. She couldn't have been more than a few days old because her eyes were still closed and she was bitty. I'm more of a dog person than a cat person but who could say no to this lil cutie?! I leave you with some proud momma photos of Miss Stella Rae.

Comments:
Should've called this post "the devil went down..."

Oh my god- that kitty is way too cute... no smart-assed comments about that one from me.

Best of luck on the jobby-job.

And I promise I will make a new heading one of these days...
